Research Interests

Dr. Colegrove's research focuses on characterizing somatic evolution in the normal bladder urothelium. He uses ultra-deep duplex sequencing to identify somatic mutations and clonal expansions, with a focus on how biological factors and exposures shape the clonal landscape. He is also investigating whether urine can serve as a surrogate sample for detecting clonal expansions in the bladder urothelium.
